Mission:

The purpose of the GSRT, Inc. Student Intern Program is to foster student knowledge of the purpose and goals of GSRT, Inc and to increase student involvement in the professional organization within their program.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Position of Student Intern:

Advocate for your school/program.
Participate in GSRT, Inc. Board and General Business meetings. (2/3 attendance required)
Respond in a timely manner to all GSRT, Inc. communication.
Serve as a role model for all medical imaging students.
Serve as a liaison between all medical imaging students and the GSRT, Inc.
Encourage membership and participation in GSRT, Inc. and it’s events at their program.
Stay informed of current issues in imaging.

Position Qualifications

Student enrolled and in good standing in a Georgia medical imaging program for primary certification and currently enrolled in medical imaging courses.
Minimum of 6 months remaining to graduation/completion.
Minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Student must maintain the 2.5 G.P.A. throughout the Student Intern term.
Program Director approval.
Registered as a GSRT student member.
Completion of application with personal statement by designated deadline.
Applications will be reviewed by the Student Affairs Committee and GSRT, Inc. Officers and/or Board.
