The Silver Award

The Silver Award is an award presented to a G.S.R.T., Inc. member who sponsors the most new RT members in a Society Calendar year.

Eligibility

A member from any G.S.R.T., Inc. membership category with current membership status may participate. This includes student members recruiting RT's.

Exception: Educators can not sign up their own student(s) while they maintain student status.

Definition of a New Member

An RT who has never been a member.
An RT whose membership has lapsed one complete G.S.R.T., Inc. fiscal year.
A graduate student who has never been a member with RT status.

Time Frame

July 1 - 30 days prior to Annual Meeting.

Award

A cash award of $10.00 for each new RT member sponsored.
A ribbon stating "Silver Award Winner".
This will be announced and presented at the opening ceremonies so the ribbon can be worn throughout the Annual Meeting.
